Abraham comes from Muslim family. His father is national India, and his Muslim name is Abdul. I changed his name to Abraham. I explained to him about his name Abdul. When the people called him, we heard easily 'Dull', the meaning of Dull from dictionary, it meant no dour, no clever... etc. Then his friends and family who called him Abraham only. It is a new name, God makes transfer for His good purpose.
I taught English class for one and half months. And Abraham is one of my student. In the beginning, Abraham could not speak and listen English. And God has changed him by giving him a new name by me.
Today, we hiked up to the mountain, we have had a great time together, I talked about Jesus to Abraham, but he told me, "My parents are Muslim, he shall be a Muslim too." I've visited his home many times, and I also talked with his mom; I even gave her Christmas cookies for Christmas. And his mom gave a Christmas card for returning. After I told Abraham, nobody can control our lives, there is Jesus who control our future. Actually, I have already asked his mom, if his sons believe in Jesus, is it OK for family? His mom talked me, "freedom!" her first adopted son Shadrack has already believed in Jesus, he is working at Pastor shops. He also attends our youth fellowship.
Finally, Abraham told me, "it is enough, he believes in Jesus now." Praise the Lord! But a few days later, he went back to Muslim musk for praying time, I understand that it is very hard to keep in his belief. He will swonder between Christian and Muslim until Jesus meets him in the personal way and speaks to him. There will be transfer from Muslim believer to Christian. It will be a miracle for him. I thank to God for Abraham, I hope that I will have another opportunity to share Jesus again to him in God's time.
